IT Support Technician (entry Level)- CMC Electronique, Canada
The IT technician is in charge of Installation, diagnosis, repairs, maintaining and updating all PC hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person is called upon to resolve issues (in person, by phone or email) in a timely manner and provide assistance when needed. It is a central point of contact for users to receive support from the corporate office computing environment.
TASKS:
Provide excellent service to our internal clients by identifying and finding solutions to their problems and concerns related to office equipment, computer hardware and software.
Installs and implements office automation hardware and software according to company standards and procedures.
Ensures compliance with company security policies.
Maintain hardware and software inventory databases to keep a list up to date.
Installs and configures the desktop computer, software and peripherals following our standards
Ensures that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Professional studies diploma (DEP) in IT Support;
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in IT support;
Passionate by the IT World
Experience on computer equipment connected to a LAN network;
Bilingual (French and English)
Availability to work on call occasionally.
