 IT Support Associate- Scalabrini, Chatswood, Australia


We are currently looking for an IT Support Associate to provide level 1 support for business applications and systems used at Scalabrini both over the phone and in person at multiple locations.

Your Role:

You will be proficient at installing and configuring computer systems and diagnosing hardware & software faults. In your position you will liaise with Scalabrini Staff, internal Application Administrators and ITC Suppliers in order to ensure that application systems and ITC infrastructure remain reliable and responsive. You will be involved with the configuration and support of workgroup systems such as Email, Office 365, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, in addition to raising purchase Requisitions on behalf of the IT Department.

Key Accountabilities:

Accompanying you exceptional customer service, you are an important point of contact for a wide rage of internal and external stakeholders including end users, internal Application Administrators and ITC suppliers as needed, to achieve fast resolutions for problems.

As part of the IT department you will be responsible for the improvement of our IT systems and encouraged to recommend ways in which technical support processes and technologies can be continuously improved. You provide first level technical support for business applications and systems used at Scalabrini and liaise with fellow IT Team members and ITC Suppliers for investigating infrastructure issues (e.g. local area networks, Internet / data links, servers, WiFi, Telephony, Websites, etc).

You have an ability to install and configure computer systems, diagnoses hardware / software faults and solves technical problems both remotely and in person across Scalabrini villages. You will serve as technical contact when a problem resolution requires multiple interactions and initiate proactive support looking to minimise the time invested by Scalabrini staff on interactions with the external Service Desk and ITC Suppliers.

About You:

    Bachelor of IT/ Engineering or equivalent.
    A minimum of 1 year experience in IT technical support.
    Positive and friendly personality with exceptional customer service skills.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to grasp and disseminate information regarding IT systems and processes to non-IT trained users.
    Ability to simply and clearly articulate users’ requirements and address them accordingly.
    High attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational skills.
    Responsive, flexible, able to multitask and a can-do
    attitude.
    Demonstrates an understanding and strict compliance with the protocols, policies and procedures concerning privacy, dignity and
    confidentiality.
    Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
