About the opportunity:

Exciting 2-year fixed term opportunity to join our team as an IT Graduate. In this role, you will develop an in-depth understanding of principles and practices relating to different areas of IT. You will gain insight into critical functions that help to ensure our business operates effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

 

Bring a learning mindset to solve problems and take on responsibilities that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for accelerated career development, while being supported with on-the-job learning and mentoring by our IT professionals.

 

We want you to experience:

    Infrastructure Architecture, understanding best practices and principles
    Learning how to implement and maintain IT Infrastructure (Server, VM, Database, Engineered systems, tools, storage, backup and Network Infrastructure environment)
    Cybersecurity, understanding emerging cybersecurity threats and how to manage them
    Learning how to manage and respond to security incidents
    Service Delivery, learning how to own delivery excellence and optimization & ensure services are delivered according to agreements and best practice
    Continuous Improvement/Innovation, developing skills around critical thinking, business logic, organisational processes, innovation and enterprise

About you:

We’re looking for a graduate who is committed to experiencing everything this Fonterra IT Graduate programme has to offer. Our ideal candidate is someone looking for an opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained throughout their studies to a unique and challenging environment.

 

You will be collaborative, with strong communication skills – both written and verbal.  You will show initiative, have learning agility and your curiosity and ability to problem-solve will set you apart from other applicants.

 

Opportunity Eligibility:

    Being in your final year of study in a relevant qualification, or recently graduated with this being your first full time role
    A relevant degree (120 credits minimum) in either IT or other related Business Studies
    GPA average of B or above
    Must have permanent working rights in New Zealand at the time of application

 

 

You’ll gain hands-on experience in some unique projects while learning from subject matter experts to develop and enhance your technical capability.
