 IT Risk Analyst- Moody’s, Hoboken, NJ, US


Role/Responsibilities

    Assist in Organizing and preparing Moody’s Information Technology responses to regulatory and audit requests including drafting of talking points and presentations on topics such as control design/execution and strategic risk mitigation programs.

    Works on IT control design and reporting; ensures that controls are sufficiently documented and satisfy risk, audit and regulatory objectives.

    Coordinates with Moody’s Compliance functions to proactively monitor pending and proposed legislation in order to adequately prepare for and adapt to regulatory changes.

    Is a member of the team that is the central point of contact with Moody’s IT for internal and external regulatory and audit requests.


 

Qualifications

    Minimum education and work experience required for this position include:

        Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Risk Management or Information Security, preferably working in Cloud (AWS) or hybrid environments.

        BS or BA degree, preferably in technology/business or equivalent.

        Relevant certifications such as CISA, Security+, are a plus but not required.

Key Competencies

    Experience working with US federal/state and international regulators on IT control management and remediation

     Proficient knowledge of laws, regulations and standards that govern Information Security practices such as ISO, SOC II and privacy laws

    Experience managing an ISO-27002 or NIST aligned security program.

    Ability to think with a control and process mindset.

    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities under limited supervision.

    Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to interact directly with customers that do not have an IT background.

    Strong presentation skills involving large and of varying IT background audiences; ability to adjust message and filter details based on audience.

    Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, internally and externally
