IT Specialist-Rebellyous Foods, Seattle, USA
The IT Specialist is a key member of the BusOps team and reports to the Business Administration Manager. As such, we expect this professional to be proactive, collaborative and provide support to the team with a sense of urgency.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Create and deploy custom solutions for various operating systems we use for unique purposes.
Commissioning tablets for food production environments.
Provide general operation support and troubleshooting to all employees in all technology areas including engineering software on high performance computers (operating systems, hardware, printers, etc).
Procure and configure new laptops as well as wipe and reconfigure existing computers.
Keep inventory of all equipment, software, services and license users.
Onboard and offboard employees from hardware and software in coordination with HR.
Deploy systems as business growth requires.
Be the main point of contact with internet and external providers and vendors.
Deploy backup solutions and protect data.
Create IT policies and conduct IT control audits on a regular basis and make recommendations as necessary to ensure compliance.
Design and deploy security measures as business growth requires.
Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities.
Recommend best practices and implement technology plans.
Update and maintain applications and systems.
Solve technically complex issues and address solutions strategically and with urgency.
Engage with manufacturer support and external vendors when appropriate.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an IT support role
Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
Knowledge of computer hardware and software with microsoft operating systems and common desktop applications, Google Workspace.
SAP experience is a strong plus.
Familiarity with C++
Demonstrated ability to assist and communicate well with others
Ability to prioritize among multiple, competing requests.
Must be a self-starter with strong organization skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
