"What is Applicant Tracking System?"
Applicant Tracking System or "ATS" is
the software installed at the employers and recruiting agency's HR
department, to collect and store the career details of all the
candidates who apply on the company's website.
So, a CV needs to be made in such a way that it is able to correctly transfer all the information to the software and that it is stored properly in it's database.
If a CV is not made correctly as per the rules and
regulations of the ATS systems, then it will not be able to transfer the
information correctly, and even though the record exists in the
database, the recruiter will never find that candidate.
