What You Will Do:

Responsibilities include:

• Timely implementation of the ongoing design of MATRIXX's software products
• All phases of development including requirements definition, design, coding and testing
• Integrate feedback from architects into product development
• Thorough testing of developed code with unit tests, and when required integration and system tests
• Support debugging and issue resolution for escalations that may arise in the field• Work to the Principal Telecoms engineer

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

5+ years overall software development experience are required.

• Strong Java and C++ programming experience
• Strong scripting language skills (preferably Python)
• Experience working in a Linux development environment
• Highly team oriented, collaborative and flexible
• Experience with Telecommunication protocols, notably the Mobility protocol CAP and Diameter
• BS or MS Computer Science or related subject area• Understanding the processes and requirements to develop software that is available 24x7
• Ability to work remotely

The Extras (Desired/Preferred Qualifications):

•Experience in rating/charging business logic as applied to OCS (Online Charging) for mobile
• Previous start-up and small company experience
• Telecommunications and enterprise software experience• Experience or a willingness to work to Cloud Native principles using technology such as Kubernetes
