 IT Cloud Solutions Engineer- GEA, Netherlands



Your responsibilities and tasks:

    IT expert being responsible for the design, planning, management, maintenance, support, and any other technological duties associated with GEA’s cloud computing environment for digitalization and innovation services
    Collaborate with Global Technology Centre and Divisions to enable their applications to run on cloud infrastructure
    Discover standard cloud services offerings, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings
    Generating scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources and deployment of solutions
    Stay well-informed of failures and complications related to a cloud offering and resolve technical issues
    Transform cloud solutions into IT services that are supported by service providers, either internal or external

Your profile and qualifications:

Educational background

    Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering or data processing
    Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
    DevOps practices
    Trained on project methodology Prince2 and Agile / Scrum
    SIAM approach / single business-facing IT organization

Professional knowledge and experiences

    At least 3-5 years IT experience with cloud operations and systems administration
    Practical object-oriented development knowledge and programming language / tools (C#, Python, Java, PowerShell etc.)
    Familiarity with containerization technologies and public cloud delivery know-how
    CI/CD Pipelines knowledge
    Knowledge of web services and APIs
    To be used to work in cross functional teams
