As part of the Amadeus Leisure Packaging team, you’ll help build the technology that powers holiday travel in the world’s leading travel markets. At this critical time for travel, you’ll have the chance to:

Summary of the Role

 

    Keeping our infrastructure secure and operate a 100 Gbit backbone network
    Connecting and protecting hundreds of servers in our datacenters in Aachen
    Scripting with Ansible helps you to avoid boring manual jobs
    Contribution to migrate things into the cloud is not a challenge for you
    Together with other experts you design our journey into cloud solutions

 

In this role you’ll find a chance to:

 

    Be a keyplayer regarding security environment
    Take on the responsibility for a big infrastructure in two datacenters
    Interact with different operational teams and vendors
    Join our agile infrastructure team and work in sprints to complete your daily doing
    Work with state of the art technology from Cisco, Radware or Dell
    After your individual training you will be part of our 24/7 on call duty to keep the business up and running

 

As ideal candidate:

 

    You convice us with your knowledge of network. Routing and switching technologies are at least basics for you
    You have already worked with networking or firewalling solutions
    You have experience with Layer 4-7 load balancing
    Basic knowledge in the administration of Linux systems
    Trying to optimize the infrastructure and reduce manual work with automation tools is your considered opinion
    Good knowledge of German and English complete your profile
