Your areas of responsibilities:

    Coordinate the service desk team members in their daily duties of attending to clients who come to make inquiries and facilitate good customer service culture in team members
    Evaluate and assess service delivery performance metrics
    Keep a record of daily operations at the desk for tracking of customer needs, services rendered and future reference
    Review all client complaints, rectify issues and liaise with appropriate departments to handle complex issues in a bid to provide more effective solutions
    Participation in maintaining inventory of hardware, software, and support assets
    Enforce IT standards and educate employees about compliance issues
    Maintain IT Infrastructure budget and coordinate with software and hardware suppliers

 

Your profile of qualification:

    Extensive experience of successfully leading, managing, mentoring, and motivating an operations-focused IT team with excellent communication skills
    Strong understanding of ITIL / Service Management
    Good knowledge of standard office applications, desktop and printing technologies
    Experience with IT-Asset-Management und Procurement
    A customer-focused mindset, doing what is necessary to delight our colleagues
    A methodical and logical approach to problem-solving with a sense of ownership
    Driven, self-starter without requiring close supervision, collaborative, comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organization
    Excellent English skills, German would be a plus

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

· To coordinate, maintain and support the Company’s IT including emails, printers, office applications, servers in Singapore and support staff who work remotely in other offices.

· Managing hardware and software (laptop, windows and office software); including other office equipment and facilities upkeep, maintenance, replacement and new purchases of inventory;

· Organise Zoom meeting and webinar, support and liaise with video crew for virtual conferences (can be learnt);

· Purchase and renewal of domain addresses annually.

· Managing and providing support for telephone line and network cable patch;

· Support and management of website and social media team.

· Maintain regular full back up of the entire office system.

· Basic desktop troubleshooting and other video/audio materials uploading and devices upkeeping and safekeeping in proper functioning order as required;

· Liaising with local/overseas IT vendor to solve voice, Internet connection, email drop and PC hardware and all internet meeting/web conferencing and connecting problem between internal and external source & clients;

· To help management with any adhoc IT based projects;

· Other contributions to the reputation of the Company shall also be taken into account;

Requirements

. Recognised polytechnic or bachelor's degree in IT support or equivalent;

· Proven 4-5 years working experience in IT Support and Operations.

· Good verbal and written communication skills;

· Must be able to work independently, take ownership of tasks in a timely manner;

· Good analytical problem-solving skills;

· Competent in documenting operating procedures, processes, and work instruction;

· Ability to balance day-to-day operations with administrative tasks;

· MCSA, MCSE, CCNA certification will be an added advantage

Job Summary:
Description

The Desktop Support Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for resolution of desktop/work group-related problems in a startup user environment. Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues surrounding Windows, SCCM, Centos Linux, MAC OSX, VMware, MS Office, e-mail, Internet connections, and hardware/peripherals IT systems and support their users in an efficient, professional, courteous, and prompt manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Setup and upgrade computer systems in a networked environment with minimum end user interruption.

• Timely implementation and maintenance of drivers & patches on workstations.
• Research and recommend hardware and software solutions as needed.
• Administer mail systems, system installation and configuration, printing systems, installation of third-party software.
• Manage fundamentals of IT security protocol (account administration, etc.)
• In association with Production Engineers, install and configure software as well as troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning software in the PC environment.
• Integrate and support devices such as printers, networks, scanners, and digitizing tablets with Microsoft Windows systems, VMware, MAC OSX & Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair or arrange for repair of defective computer equipment.
• Put in service calls and track service on machines (RMA #s, etc.).
• Communicate status of issues in progress to those parties concerned on a timely basis.
• Carry a mobile device during work and non-work hours and be available on-call when needed.
• Identify and recommend solutions to technical issues as needed.
• Document and communicate system support issues with end users, IT staff, and management.
• Plan, develop, and maintain project schedules.
• Perform special projects as needed.

Required Skills / Competencies

• 1-3 years of Windows and Linux desktop support experience.
• Good understanding of Linux and Apple operating systems.
• Good understanding of VMware.
• 1-2 years of SCCM experience.
• Ability to write scripts in some administrative language.
• Demonstrate the ability to integrate computer skills, customer support experience, and related education to exceed technical, business and customer requirements.
• Skilled at troubleshooting and fixing problems while minimizing customer stress levels.
• Good communication skills, able to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with co-workers and customers.
• Experience working in multi-national corporation a plus.
• Self-starter, energetic, good people/communication skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Effective written/oral communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Team player that strives to maximize team and department performance.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner.
• Ability to work in a start-up environment that has a high degree of ambiguity is highly desired.
