Excellent permanent role for an Infrastructure Architect, working as part of the Strategy and Architecture function of a financial services client. The successful candidate will be a member of the architecture team and will develop platform roadmaps, platform governance and guardrails for the infrastructure practice, as well as supporting projects and programs and assisting the Strategy and Architecture teams.
 
Responsibilities:

    Develop Infrastructure Platform Architectures, roadmaps, guardrails, and patterns that meet with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture standards
    Act as a trusted advisor, and become a respected innovative agent for change and transformation
    Support the development of the Platform Architecture practice, and its operating and governance processes
    Provide quality control for solution designers, ensuring downstream designs are well
    Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external to align strategies with business needs

Required skills & experience:

    5+ years’ experience working in the role of an Infrastructure Architect / Solutions Architect
    Extensive experience in medium to large enterprise environments including the creation of infrastructure architectures, roadmaps and patterns
    Relevant industry certifications relating to the Infrastructure and Cloud practices
    Well-developed communication, facilitation and presentation skills
    Able to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels both internal and external
    Able to work as part of a broader group, enabling IT strategies and alignment to strategic business goals and objectives

Our solutions include SE Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), ArcFMGIS, Distributed Energy Resource Management (DERMS), Autogrid, Smart Metering, Grid Asset Advisor, and Energy Profiler Online.

 

We have an opportunity for Infrastructure Engineer in our Pacific support and project delivery services team. This role will be responsible for working with various Project Managers and the Support Manager to maintain infrastructure supporting SE ADMS solutions. Over time this role will also evolve to include SE ADMS software deployment skills. While the preferred location for this role is Adelaide, we will consider alternative sites for the right candidate.

 

Specific Activities;

    Work closely with project teams, support team and customers as required
    Deploy, support and maintain digital grid I.T/O.T infrastructure for new and existing digital grid service customers
    Maintain knowledge of industry best practice trends in the relevant areas

About you;

    You will demonstrate a sound understanding of network infrastructure technologies, MS administration and security management
    Experience with PowerShell scripting would be advantageous MS or Cisco certification is desirable
    Excellent communication and organizational skills
    You are a self-starter with collaborative work habits and high motivation for problem-solving

About the Role

Total Tools is searching for a Help Desk Support Engineer to join the team at our Port Melbourne Support Office. This role will support Store and Corporate staff with online, phone and face to face support, covering Network/Microsoft/Laptop and devices/ERP Pronto and general IT assistance

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

    Level 1 and 2 support of Microsoft systems including account creation, basic security and access.
    General IT support for ERP and corporate systems assisting users where necessary.
    Provisioning of equipment, setup and deploying for users to support them in their duties
    Participate in broader, system related business projects. Develop and report on the status of project resources/deliverable, system performance reviews and post implementation audits
    Build strong relationships with users, IT staff, and management to determine and resolve issues associated with system and network implementation
    Champion customer service and ensure a customer first approach.
    Participate as necessary on the strategic enablement of IT and Digital systems and participate as required.
