We are looking for a digital specialist who will lead on and support several DIT services in CAHSS, particularly MS SharePoint Intranet and related applications.

 

The successful candidate will provide high-quality solutions, advice, guidance and professional support to the College and its Schools on digital (internet-intranet) processes and content.

 

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a varied and challenging role.

The post holder will liaise with colleagues across the College and beyond, providing consultation and timely support for several digital platforms and applications used by the team.

You will have a key role in gathering user requirements and working closely with the digital developers and external suppliers to ensure that the solutions are fit for purpose.

    Experience in Intranet service administration, preferably Microsoft SharePoint
    Experience in service management and delivery

What you’ll be doing:

To liaise with UK CTO and other assigned groups to manage the security portions of strategic projects, working within the project teams to achieve goals on time and on budget.

    To deliver assigned UK Security projects, enhancing our controls and closing new risks, on time and on budget.
    To form adhoc cross department teams as required to make decisions that support project delivery and solve important security problems.
    Liaise with Group, UK CTO and Operating entity architecture teams, including Security architecture, to maintain consistency across group strategy, and to maintain governance over the UK IT Systems.
    With the UK Security team to provide consultancy on the security aspects of business goals and plans outside CTO.
    To build secure solutions which can be measured, for example on Coverage, Quantity, and Quality metrics, and can be moved into a supportable and maintainable Business as Usual state.
    To assist the rest of UK Security producing risk assessments of Group and 3rd party tools and platforms, as required.

What you'll be doing

Who we're looking for

    Technical Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security.
    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to manage internal IT, business and supplier stakeholders.
    Proven ITIL background and training to a minimum of v3 Foundation level.
    Systems experience within one or more domains with an understanding of the Information and Integration needs
    Commitment to self-development and be enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and embracing new technologies.
    Previous experience of 3rd Line support in an Infrastructure support team
    Experience of working with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and AWS.
    An understanding of Development, Testing and Support Environments

Main activities are:

Key Responsibilities

    Strategic advice to the CISO Office
        Gathering requirements, collecting context data, analysing the business needs, and providing input to support the strategic decision-making processes. Challenging the validity of given procedures, processes, policies and systems
        Advising Domain Architects, Enterprise Architects, (IT) business and the CISO in identifying, justifying and design/development of the required solutions, including scope definitions and qualitative business cases
        Supporting the development of technology vendor strategy and performing impact analysis on solution/service implementations
    Architecture artefacts lead and delivery
        Formulating and testing hypotheses and drawing conclusions to determine appropriate security solutions/services for ING in a global perspective
        Designing Global Architecture for public cloud security ensuring the optimal match between technology, fit-to-infrastructure (feasibility of deployment), costs, user acceptance, measurability, and flexibility/scalability together with a virtual team of Domain and Enterprise Architects
        Specifically designing key components that must be enforced and can be measured automatically
        Maintaining and updating the Global Architecture/Security Standard taking relevant (technological, organisational) changes into consideration as well as keeping pace with innovations and trends in the industry/market
    Communication and verification
        Presenting and delivering verbal and written messages to other architects within ING, senior specialists and senior executive management
        Defining and presenting final solution and impact on the organisation, and sustaining the rationale for the solution/service
        Organising and providing trainings, workshops, video conferences and working with international (virtual) teams on the topic of Security Architecture
        Enforcing and verifying the correct implementation of the Global Architecture throughout the ING organisation
        Building and maintaining a sustainable network of specialists inside and outside ING
        Initiating and leading knowledge sharing activities
        Keeping professional knowledge up-to-date and translating external innovations and trends into useable information

Requirements

    Fluent in technical and conceptual aspects of enterprise security, with recent cloud security experience related to
    CASB and SASE
    Azure or GCP Cloud platforms
    Cloud-based SIEM/SOAR
    Background in Computer Science or Mathematics/Economics/Physics
    Seasoned enterprise security professional with more than 10 years total experience; diversity of experience is a plus

    Fluent in technical and conceptual aspects of cloud security, specifically on:
    Background in Computer Science or Mathematics/Physics
    CISSP
    Furthermore the following personal profile:
        Ability to take ownership and responsibility
        Expertise and demonstrated track-record in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams
        Excellent analytical skills and clear way of expressing abstract concepts

The Challenge

In order to provide excellent ICT end user services at all times, the ICT Support Assistant ensures that operational ICT support is offered locally to end users in close cooperation with service providers. The support services are related to ICT devices (computers, tablets, smart phones, printers and VC units).

Key responsibilities are:

    Give onsite 2nd line support to end users, related to the functionality of ICT hardware equipment, telephony (PBX internal routing and mobile telephone), audio equipment and video equipment (video conferences);
    Act as intermediate between the end-user and the 1st line external IT Service Desk with respect to agreed KPI’s and SLA‘s;
    Support and stimulate end users in optimal use of the office automation facilities (hardware, business applications, mobile telephone, audio/video equipment);
    Responsible for installation, activation, handout and stock taking of ICT end user equipment (software, licenses and hardware such as laptops, mobile telephone, tablets);
    Take initiatives to come up with proposals to maximize standardization and to reduce the number of incidents;
    Liaise with the Manager ICT and other relevant stakeholders regarding improvements to the ICT infrastructure;
    Take care of the installation and internal moving of ICT desk equipment/hardware roll out;
    Assist in the execution of planned maintenance outages;
    Software license management;
    Responsible for the availability and functionality of ICT end user equipment;
    Proactively come up with improvement suggestions for ICT infrastructure and maintenance processes;

ICT infrastructure is virtualized, housed on-premise and partly hosted in the cloud. You are able to function independently as well as in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers. The segregation between the remote support (provided by external service providers) and onsite ICT support makes clear procedures for end users necessary (whom to be consulted for what).
The Candidate

You combine at least an MBO degree in ICT and several years of experience working in a ICT environment. Strong affinity with the ICT and support, you have broadened your knowledge by courses like ITIL, Microsoft certifications, Windows Client etc.

You have knowledge about networking infrastructure, MS office/exchange, Active directory, Sharepoint. Knowledge of telephony (PBX internal routing and mobile telephone), audio equipment and video equipment (video conferences) is preferable.

You are fluent in English both spoken and written. You have excellent analytical and practical thinking skills, also you are the best at troubleshooting and are a strong communicator.

You are interested in learning and developing further within IT Field, and you have a natural interest in new technologies in the field of ICT, audio, video and mobile telephone for business applications.
