Description

    Providing escalated technical support for Desktop technicians, provide necessary training and assisting with knowledge gathering to ultimately resolve end-user and customer requests in a timely fashion.

    Create a positive working atmosphere for employees and customer support to exceed in all areas of support
    Work directly with customer to fully understand expectations for projects, deliver results and maintain a clear line of communication
    Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and peripherals with end-users systems
    Record, track, and document incident requests, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
    Escalate and work within defined process to provide timely customer support and escalate appropriately to departments
    Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by appropriate management team

    Assist where necessary onboarding of staff.
    Administer VoIP phone systems.
    Assist with rollouts of new technologies where required.
    Provide assistance to team where necessary.
    Provide endpoint device support where necessary.
    Coordinate and manage projects as required with minimal supervision and guidance, including vendor deliverables, timelines and coordination of internal teams.

    Performs additional duties as required and requested

Job Description

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) is responsible for providing administrative, technical and legal support to all 94 United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs) located in over 200 geographically dispersed sites throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Guam, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The EOUSA Office Automation (OA), Telecommunications and Technology Development (TTD), and Case Management (CM) and Information Systems Security (ISS) Staffs provide for the identification and analysis of the business needs/requirements to USAOs necessary for the design, development, and deployment of secure office automation, wide and local area networking, case management and other applications. However, all four of these staff must rely on contractors to deliver many of the high-level technical services needed to maintain the technology deployed in EOUSA and USAOs.

SCOPE OF WORK

    Troubleshoots hardware, software, printers, and network issues
    Performs Active Directory administration
    Application Support and Administration (Microsoft Windows 10; Microsoft Server 2012 R2 and Microsoft Server 2016; Microsoft Office 2016 including Outlook and Microsoft Exchange)
    Executes basic Cisco switch administration using PuTTY and/or Cisco Prime
    Mobile Device Support (AirWatch software supporting iOS devices including iPads and iPhones)
    Supports in System Center Service Manager (SCSM) ticketing software
    VMware and/or vSphere administration;
    Utilizes Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 for imaging, application installs and security updates; and troubleshooting EVoIP phones.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    Solid working knowledge of networks, servers and desktop applications with the ability to multitask while working through issues on both phone calls and emails.
    Strong oral communication and documentation skills.
    Versed in Windows Server administration
    Understanding of File and Folder Permissions in Windows
    Experience in synchronization concepts as related specifically to data management
    Knowledge of multi-site storage methods and synchronization
    Knowledge of Cloud Object Storage



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    In depth knowledge troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and network issues as well as Active Directory administration; Microsoft Windows 10; Microsoft Server 2012 R2 and Microsoft Server 2016; Microsoft Office 2016 including Outlook and Microsoft Exchange, basic Cisco switch administration using PuTTY and/or Cisco Prime; AirWatch software supporting iOS devices including iPads and iPhones; System Center Service Manager (SCSM) ticketing software; VMware and/or vSphere administration; Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 used for imaging, application installs and security updates; and troubleshooting EVoIP phones.

Summary:

The Automation Systems Engineer supports equipment automation, information collection and reporting, and manufacturing workflow solutions. Participates in the design, deployment, integration, maintenance, and validation for all site automation and related systems, data acquisition systems, recipe management, and electronic work instruction systems. Responsibilities:

    Performs task to execute controls/automation-related tasks (code review and investigation, code development, and change control execution) and support execution of equipment qualifications
    Monitors and maintains automated system functionality. Prepares periodic evaluation reports for automated systems used in commercial manufacturing
    Implements PLC and HMI software application changes and upgrades for automated process equipment
    Supports Validation Department with initial design review, software testing, and protocol review related to automated systems

Qualifications:

    Associates degree with minimum experience of 5 years in Automation, Engineering, Technology, or Software Programming.
    Strong Allen Bradley PLC (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and HMI/SCADA (Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE, PlantPAx library version 4.0 and higher, etc.) programming skills
    Understanding of the various Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Suite of software applications e.g., HMI View SE, Historian SE, Directory, Services Platform, Diagnostics, Transaction Manager, etc
    Basic understanding of software quality system principles (e.g., GAMP) and engineering documentation required for cGMP process equipment (e.g., GEPs)
    Working knowledge of database management software, security, and reports (MS-Access, SQL, SQL Audit, SSRS Reporting)
    Familiarity in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cyber-Security guidance, rules, and applications e.g., Claroty, Digital Immunity, Cisco Firepower, Firewall Rules, USB Kiosk Scanners, etc
    Working knowledge of Virtual Environments (VMware), Windows Operating Systems, Security and data storage, including, but not limited to Server 2016, Domain Controller and Policy Management
    Highly effective written and verbal communication skills required
    Prior experience programming, designing, and maintaining industrial control systems is preferred.

About the Role

The CrowdStrike Information Technology Service Desk Team is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The ITSD Team is a key component of the CrowdStrike family and is critical to the smooth and effective daily operations of all CrowdStrike team members. This position will facilitate, implement, troubleshoot, problem solve and enhance the ITSD Team’s support, systems and operational responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

    Serve as a front-line Service Desk support technician and assist with inbound support requests to receive, triage and facilitate a resolution for internal customers

    Maintain an operational knowledge of the latest Mac, Windows and Linux OS server and desktop features, best practices and system/application configurations

    Manage CrowdStrike endpoints via SCCM, Jamf and AirWatch. This includes monitoring, securing, updating, patching, troubleshooting, automating and optimizing laptop, desktop and mobile systems

    Contribute to streamlining, optimizing and simplifying employee application experiences, improving application usability and interoperability, testing new application releases and researching new solutions to customer demands or recurring problem sets

    Configure new-hire systems and perform IT on-boarding for new employees

    Act as a local resource for hands-on and eyes-on assistance in the server/networking room

    Potential occasional travel to remote offices for similar projects

    Collaborate with (getting help from or providing help to) Service Desk Team members and other teams’ subject matter experts when working on projects or new initiatives

    Implement, improve and document new and existing policies, procedures and processes for various IT systems

    Maintain inventory and assist with asset procurement, delivery and shipping

    Provide support for A/V equipment in office conference rooms

    Assist in supporting employees in the office as necessary

Required Skills

    Effective communication, patience, tenacity and follow-through in tracking, troubleshooting and bringing to resolution internal customer support calls

    Ability to explain complex technical concepts/procedures/policies to non-technical internal customers; collaborate and coordinate with members of other teams to track, isolate and resolve technical issues

Preferred Skills
