Desktop Support Engineer- Atos, Singapore
Responsibilities:
• To be highly customer-focus and diligent towards providing good customer service.
• To provide 1st level / 2nd level support to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving of desktop / notebook problems (hardware, software and application) and the associated peripherals (printer, scanner, mobile devices, etc).
• To perform device imaging using Dell Image Assistant or SCCM task sequence. Or to do fresh installation, setup, configuration, migration, upgrading and maintenance of desktop / notebook, OS, software, and related peripherals.
• To be prompt and meticulous in updating of daily incidents handled into the incident management tool.
• To be responsive and pro-active in handling end-users' desktop / notebook problems and requests.
• Ensure desktop / notebook interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, files servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.
• Liaise with third party vendors for replacement of parts/components and rectification of faults if the equipment is under warranty or under some form of maintenance contract between the customer and third-party vendor.
• Conduct and document changes based on quality processes.
• May perform standby duties or to provide VIP support.
• Perform smart hands (eyes and hands support) for other delivery functions including but not limited to Windows, Network, Linux, Backup & Storage, and network
• Asset retirement and management.
• Support user enquiries via phone/email or via remote desktop connections through collaborative tools like Skype / Teams / LogMeIn / Bomgar / Quick Assist or similar

Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in IT
• Min 1 year of solid Desktop support experience
• Must be customer service oriented with good inter-personal and communication skills
• Good attitude with positive mindset in learning and ready to excel
• Possess relevant IT skill set in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience in installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops
• Experience in supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Anti-virus software etc.
• Must be customer service oriented with good inter-personal and communication skills
• Good attitude with positive mindset in learning and ready to excel
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Capability of seeing the tasks assigned holistically, able to break-down the task in detail and follow-through end-to-end

• ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 certification is preferred.
• Some knowledge related to Microsoft Azure & Intune device management, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office application and Microsoft Config Manager
• Exposure on Google Platform and Workplace, and/or AWS service is a plus
